What's the UMC
The Meaning
A meadow doesn't look designed — every plant seems to have simply found its place. That's the standard we hold every garden to, even in the middle of a city: something that feels found, not imposed. "Urban Meadow" is that contradiction held on purpose — wildness, brought somewhere it isn't expected to survive.

The Collective
"Collective" is doing real work in the name too. This isn't a company with a design department and a build department who've never met — it's Ben and Jamie, working the same project from opposite ends and meeting in the middle. Design and construction under one roof, not handed between strangers.
The name is the promise, essentially: something that grows, shaped by more than one pair of hands, built to last past the season it was planted in.
Every element in the mark is drawn from the same idea — wild things, given a place to grow.
